基于多源遥感的和田河流域生态补水对流域植被变化影响研究

Impact of ecological water supplementation on vegetation changes in the Hotan River Basin as judged by multi-source remote sensing data

  • 摘要: 利用Landsat遥感影像和MODIS数据集,得到和田河流域沙漠段河流水面面积和植被覆盖面积的时空分布特征.进一步分析归一化植被指数(NDVI)的季节变化特征与景观格局指数,得到和田河流域沙漠段生态环境的空间变化特征.结果表明:生态补水措施增加了流域的水体和植被面积,缓解了生态环境;并且生态补水后河流曲折系数下降,平均水面宽度增加,河流逐步朝平流化方向发展;NDVI的空间分布呈现河流两端植被覆盖量高,中间覆盖量低的特点.分析景观格局指数得到,生态应急补水使和田河流域沙漠段水体景观和植被景观分布呈现聚集分布,有效地缓解了生态环境.

     

    Abstract: Vegetation and water body affect terrestrial ecosystem.The Hotan River Basin reaches deep into the hinterland, but water resources are insufficient.Runoff of the Hotan River has decreased in recent years, bringing huge challenges to the growth of Populus euphratica forests in the Hotan Oasis and coastal areas.To alleviate this situation, Hotan Administration Bureau carried out ecological emergency water supplementation to the Populus euphratica forest in Akjak and Postan ranch on July 9, 2017.To assess impact of ecological water transportation measures on ecological environment in the Hotan River Basin in 2017, Landsat remote sensing images and MODIS datasets were used to examine spatial and temporal distribution of river water area and vegetation coverage in the desert section of the Hotan River Basin.Seasonal variation characteristics of NDVI values and landscape metrics of vegetation and water body were analyzed to study the spatial variations of the ecological environment.The ecological water supplementation measures were found to have increased water and vegetation area over the basin and alleviated ecological environment.After ecological water supplementation, river meandering coefficient decreased, average water surface width increased, the river gradually developed in the direction of flat flow.Spatial distribution of NDVI showed characteristics of high vegetation coverage at both ends of the river but low coverage in the middle of the river.Landscape metrics revealed aggregation of water landscape and vegetation landscape in the desert section of Hotan River Basin, to effectively alleviate the worsened ecological environment.
