Overview of the construction and achievements of the energy and mineral resources platform at the School of Natural Resources, Beijing Normal University

This article provides a historical overview of the construction process, institutional evolution, and team composition of the energy and mineral resources platform． It introduces the setting and teaching of oil and gas geology courses in the teaching system, as well as the training of graduate students． It summarizes and highlights its main scientific research achievements and progress． The team has opened up teaching and research work in the field of oil and gas and related mineral resources at Beijing Normal University, completed various scientific research projects, and won multiple national and provincial science and technology awards, serving China’s oil and gas geological work． We have published a series of papers in various international top or important journals such as Fuel、INT J COAL GEOL、Chemical Geology and Energy & Fuels, as well as important domestic journals such as Science in China、Chinese Science Bulletin and Acta Geologica Sinica, and have also published multiple monographs． We have also conducted international collaborative research and have had a positive impact on the international academic community．
