Abstract:
Newly added data of sports enterprises are used to construct an index for sports entrepreneurship activity by the population method, to evaluate entrepreneurial vitality of sports enterprises in China from 2000 to 2020. Agglomeration of regional sports entrepreneurship vitality and driving factors are studied by Moran index and geographic detector model. On national scale, the entrepreneurial activity of sports enterprises has increased from 0.323 in 2000 to 13.541 in 2020, with a continuous upward trend. On regional scale, the entrepreneurial activity of sports enterprises shows a spatial pattern of “high in the east and low in the central and western regions”. The overall Moran index is greater than 0.2, with positive spatial correlation between the activity of sports entrepreneurship in China. Local Moran index reflects strong spatial clustering of sports entrepreneurship; urban clusters play a strong radiating role. The purchasing power level is the core element that affects sports entrepreneurship. Innovation support, labor force level, marketization index, and national sports industry base construction all have positive impact on sports entrepreneurship. It is concluded that attention should be paid to the spatial imbalance of sports entrepreneurship level and element support should be provided according to local conditions. Entrepreneurial driving effect of urban agglomerations needs to be utilized to achieve regionally coordinated growth. Full use should be made of the sports industry base and entrepreneurial carrier function.
