Abstract:
The field observation stations are important research bases for the resource discipline at Beijing Normal University. Based on regional characteristics and research specialties, the construction of these stations has been continuously expanded, with plots and both hardware and software facilities progressively improved. Research content has been enriched, and high-level outcomes have been consistently produced. This paper analyzes the significant role of field observation stations in the construction and development of the resource discipline and reviews their current development status. It also traces the history of the establishment of field stations at Beijing Normal University, deeply analyzing the development history, current status, and research achievements of typical field stations. Furthermore, the paper outlines the future development trends of these stations and presents prospects for the construction of field stations within the resource discipline. The aim of this paper is to provide references for the construction of field stations in resource science and the acquisition and use of observation data.
