Seeding and immune response of Tau protein in Alzheimer’s disease

  • 摘要: Tau蛋白的异常聚集作为阿尔茨海默病(Alzheimer’s disease,AD)发病机制的重要组成部分,一直以来是国内外的研究热点.自Tau蛋白聚集体具有种子效应这一现象被发现以来,Tau病理种子的形成、传播与抑制过程作为治疗AD疾病新的治疗方向被广泛研究,但具体的相关机制尚不明确.本文对目前Tau蛋白的复杂性、Tau病理种子的形成与传播、种子传播的免疫抑制方面的相关研究进行总结,阐述了Tau病理种子传播的可能机制,可为未来AD疾病的治疗提供新的方向.

     

    Abstract: The abnormal aggregation of Tau protein is an important cause for the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Since the seed effect of Tau protein aggregates was discovered, the formation, propagation and inhibition of Tau seeds have been widely studied, but specific mechanisms remain unclear. The complexity of Tau protein, the formation and spread of Tau seeds, and immunosuppression effect of Tau seed spreading were summarized. The possible mechanism of Tau seeds spreading was described, with certain clinical implications for the treatment of AD.
