Abstract:
CiteSpace bibliometric analysis was used in this study to systematically review literature on social-ecological system risks and adaptation under climate change and to construct knowledge maps. Thematic knowledge structures and research evolution based on keyword knowledge maps were first identified. Discrepancy in research attention and focus regarding different types of extreme weather events were then analyzed. Development trends in research paradigms and technical approaches in this field were summarized from a methodological perspective. Research frontiers were found to concentrate on bidirectional interactions, future scenarios, and collaborative governance. Research patterns concerning extreme weather events exhibited pronounced imbalance. Research methods evolved toward integration, dynamic enhancement, and greater technological depth.
