中国数学学科成果评价方式研究

Evaluation of academic performance in mathematics in China

  • 摘要: 围绕数学学科自身特点,描述了现行评价体系使得数学学科由于作者署名顺序与其他学科不同,期刊文章刊载量有限、引用周期长、引用率低等特点,造成本学科与其他学科比较时处于相对劣势的处境. 通过梳理原因,试图在精确描述本学科的特征的基础上,提出数学学科评估的对策建议:数学学科评价的目标是引领中国数学未来的发展方向,确立同行评议机制,强化基础数学和应用数学的分类评价导向,注重高质量成果评价,构建多元化评价方式.

     

    Abstract: In this study we listed major flaws in the Mathematics evaluation in China, which include compiling papers with first or corresponding authors only, limited spaces in journal publications, very long citation period, and low citation numbers. All these drawbacks have made research performance in mathematics much weaker than in other disciplines. Some suggested improvements are proposed. More extensive peer review must be considered. Diversified evaluation needs to be applied to mathematics or applied mathematics. High quality research must be emphasized.
